About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Carpe diem" (seize the day!) Committed to living fully OUT in every aspect of my life, saying "yes" to whatever arises each day, living for the experiences which can NOT be put into words, being connected: with my true self, other people, the Mystery!
ABOUT ME
An affable easy-going man in my late 70s who enjoys travel, meeting new people and sharing stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a LISTENER, and continually getting better at listening at a deeper and more aware level. I also hope I am getting better at telling the truth.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE: Stayed with a delightful married couple in Belleville IL to attend a "Camino de Santiago" conference, then stayed with them a year later on the way to a family reunion in Missouri.
Interests
Two summers ago I walked the Camino de Santiago across northern Spain; last summer I returned as a volunteer and went back again with my partner Bill. In the meantime I audit courses at our local community college, enjoy riding my Vespa, music (classical, folk, gospel), movies and doing volunteer work with hospice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I walked the Camino de Santiago across northern Spain ("camino" means way, path, journey). I've learned the difference between tourist (seeing sights) vs. pilgrim (finding a new way of seeing). Every moment, breath, day, year, relationship is a new "camino," a new journey toward transformation, another step toward wholeness.
