ABOUT ME

I'm Matt (and my wife Amanda). We're a recently married couple with our own big empty house in northwest Houston, open to the idea of having people stay with us and share all this space!

We both originally hail from the Southeastern, Connecticut area. I also lived and went to school in Providence, RI for four years. We moved to Houston two years ago for work, and have loved every minute of it. I work as an engineer for a tech giant and Amanda is a 1st grade teacher. Matt spends his spare time growing his photography business, honing his drumming skills, exploring abandoned places and tinkering around on his computer.

We're 30 minutes northwest of all the downtown Houston craziness, but travel into the city frequently to have a good time; so we know our way around. We get along with everyone and are hoping to meet interesting and fun people. We're a 15 minute drive away from Houston IAH airport, and about an hour from Houston Hobby airport.

PHILOSOPHY

Put God first, serve others. Judge not & love everyone regardless of nationality, religion, sexual preference, color, creed.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Neither of us actually have couch-surfed in the past. At this point in our lives, it'll probably have to wait until we're much older. Let's hope by then I'm couch-surfing on our personal yacht, sailing around the world.
