I am Gashaw Newt from Ethiopia. I have completed my education from the University of Gondar in English language and literature. I moved to Addis to continue with tourism and just finished it.

I live in Addis Ababa and traveling with my guests all around Ethiopia. I am very passionate about traveling and discovering new places and people. Ethiopia being home of different nation, nationalities, I have always enjoyed my time wherever I go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a tour guide, i like that practices of taking my guests into the less-traveled places in Ethiopia apart from the well-known ones.

I like to socialize and have fun with people and share experience, learn their culture by teaching mine. I feel proud of showing my true identity to the people visiting me.
