Overview
About Me
My name is Gaston, I'm studying accounting and working. I currently live in an apartment in the city center of Cordoba, Argentina. I consider myself a positive and organized person. My friends tell me I'm always smiling, and that's because I think everything that happens is an opportunity to learn... and I try to learn all the time, from reading, listening to the opinions of others, travelling...
Travelling is one of the things I like the most, but not only sightseeing... I want to get to know the culture I´m visiting, the people who lives there and how do they live. I want to visit the places where locals normally eat, to taste the local food but not in a fancy touristic restaurant. I really like the gastronomy. I want to embed the culture of the places I go and make new friends in the road.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing allows mi to get to know even better the culture in a country, by living for a few days with great people (hosting or being hosted) and sharing talks with them. I really think that travelling is not a complete experience if you only go sightseeing, that way you only see one little piece of the place where you are. To get to know the culture and widen your mind, you have to be and spend your time with locals.
I also want to practice my English, as I can't do it normally while I'm not travelling.
Interests
I like cooking (and eating!), reading books and watching TV series.
I restaure old cars and motorcycles in my free time, with my dad and brother. And of course we drive them after they're working again.
Also, I really like history, this is one of my main aims while I'm travelling, to get to know the history of a civilization or a country, their culture and costumes.

Also, to go literally into a war submarine in Istambul, and walk through the interior of it, even the engine and torpedo's rooms!!
