My name is Gastón Di Laudo, I am 24 years old and I am from Bella Vista, Buenos Aires.
Before coming to New Zealand I have lived for one year and a half in Brazil.
My professions are Lifeguard, and Park Ranger. I have been a Scout since I was a child.
I really like to travel and to know new places and cultures.
Now I am in New Zealand. Many years ago I intended to begin this new adventure here, because it is a beautiful country. I love the nature and landscapes from here. I plan to go hiking in several national parks during my stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use Couchsurfing because I like to travel and it is interesting and useful to meet local people and sharing their lifestyle for a few days. This is the way to know more of the culture and know the country in a local perspective.

Interests

I really like the nature and I am really passionate about protecting the enviroment .
I love mountains, especially trekking. I swim since very young, so when I was older I decided to do a course of Lifeguard to help people and save lives .
I enjoy the life of backpacker, camping, going hostels.
I would like to work in other countries to have interesting new experiences .

I really like Classic Rock, Pink Floyd, Creedence, Yes, Rush, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, AC DC, Deep Purple. Also a little of Reggae, classical music and most of all I like electronic music like Armin Van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, W & W, Boris Brejcha, Deadmau5, Martin Garrix, Ftampa, Alok, etc.

The movies that I like more are Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Untouchable Friends, X-Men, Into the wild, Maze Runner, Toy Story, The Secret of your eyes, Artificial intelligence, Shawshank Redemption, All the dogs go to heaven, Lion King, Batman y Schindler list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I Walked 550 kilometers on a mountain trail, called Huella Andina that connects five National Parks of Patagonia Argentina. I have made many rescues in the sea and rivers.
