Overview
About Me
I’m a born-and-bred Porteño currently based in the wonderful whirlwind of Buenos Aires. By nature, I’m a bit of a language obsessive with a deep-seated love for English literature. I’m lucky enough to be fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian, but these days you’ll mostly find me wrestling with French and German. I’m working hard to get a proper working command of both, so if you see me muttering to myself, I’m likely just practising my verb conjugations! When I’m not lost in a book or a film, I’m usually out exploring, trying to find those hidden corners of a city that haven't been spoilt by the usual tourist trails.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travel is all about the "proper" local experience and the serendipity of meeting new people. I’m here because I believe a city is only as good as the stories told by the folk who live there. I’m particularly keen to connect with native speakers of the languages I’m learning—there’s nothing quite like a bit of authentic banter to help everything click into place. I have a massive soft spot for Italian culture in particular, and I’m always up for a long chat about books, films, or the strange little differences that make every culture unique.
