I'm currently living with roommates, so I haven't tried hosting. I don't always travel solo, but when I do, I like to try couch surfing. Would love to meet new people and see old friends, get a glimpse at the world through their eyes. Discover other ways of life, in their differences and similarities with the ones I know, and enjoy the place I'm visiting.

Else, while most of CS members already do this, going abroad solo feels like an achievement. Just getting out to see the world beyond an organized group visit is fantastic.
