About Me

To build bridges of friendship and understanding between people of different nations, cultures and beliefs

A journalist, avid traveler and open-minded guy who loves to meet people from all over the world.

Friendships are the best part of human life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I try to offer a warm hospitality to travelers who visit my country...Life is to be enjoyed, while making sure I'm not reducing others' freedom.

Soon after I joined CS, I found a place to stay in Frankfurt --just when I needed to be there to catch an early flight the next morning. I got a nice room with a balcony and a view of the river! A year later, my host had to visit my city on a business trip --and I was able to return the favor...He didn´t need a couch, but a tour guide. I was glad to show him around the city.

Reading, writing, traveling around the world, surfing the web, teaching Spanish to travelers, meeting new international friends, hugging, sharing coffee and conversation, promoting world peace and understanding across cultural barriers, ecumenism, fellowship, true friendships, loving others.
I have published two books of phrases, which attempt to make fun of urban life and politics.
