About Me

CURRENT MISSION

so far still I am looking for my current mission but living and enjoying the most...

ABOUT ME

well... about me ... nice guy... creative, who love to laugh... to travel...to talk, to be sociable... but with normal ups and downs .... I am not going to put myself as the one who is collecting friends all over the world....I am independent, a solitary person sometimes, I am quite ambiguous...positive but realistic....
what do u think? Am I too complicated? ;)

PHILOSOPHY

personal philosophy? well... can I answer this later?
just live your life respecting other peoples' life and not harming, is that much to ask?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Try to help as much as I can, but sometimes I am bad at answering, not because I don't want to but because I forget to or I read it late...so don't take it personally.
not 100% sure if I u can stay at my place... but still there are more than 50% possibilities....so just ask and tell me how long.

However, don't contact me a month or two before your arrival, I would rather hear from short-notice, unorganized people like me! :)

if u are looking for alternative places to see and tired of the same tourist places... u can contact me, if we have the time, we could drink something and do some party, but no one is equal and everybody has different preferences...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I have lived in a couple of countries and I have created my own couchsurfing network for a while, through friends, and friends from friends
I started with unorganized couchsurfing experiences, as host in Caracas and Berlin. Meanwhile as a couchsurfer, I have crashed several couches worldwide from Morocco to Japan.

so far I crashed a couch in Hannover, nice evening and well time to expand the experience.
In Strasbourg I met amazing people and they almost made me stay there and live with them.
and Athens, I just had an outrageous night dancing to Greek rhythms in an small theater festival!!
I offer my couch in the south of Tunisia and received the most interesting people travelling in the country
I have been away for a while here but trying to reconnect, so let' see.

Personally I have offered a place to stay to people that I have met, and they for different reasons don't have a place to stay or need a place for one night. Also some other people have offered me the same while traveling.

Interests

Currently, I am really into food, vegetarianism, meditation (vipassana) and local production movement.
Among others:
music, cinema, traveling, yoga, reading, museums and galleries, cooking, trekking, partying, relaxing, wandering, people and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

well movies I could write thousands... as well as books...

I am really into Tarkovsky, Gondry, Antonionio, Godard, Fellini, Pasolini, Lynch, Medem, but even though I like some directors what i like the most is to explore new films: just grab random films from the Library and discover new worlds: from Asia or Africa. Bab Aziz for instance.
all time favorite "los amantes del circulo polar"

books... Now reading Shantaram, and earning to go back to Asia...

I am really into Hesse, and lot of japanese authors, from Murakami to Enzo and Mikida and also Finish authors.

From time to time a bit of magical realism or other genres from Latin America that helps me remember that I am from there. Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Jorge Amado, Padura, Benedetti, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

8 days trekking tour in the Tunisian Sahara.

a sufi night in Lahore, Pakistán

Riding a motorcycle on the volcano lakes of Uganda

Enjoy the northern lights after taking a sauna in Lapland

Camp alone in a almost virgin beach in Venezuela

Hear the Monks praying in an almost forgotten Temple in Japan

sleeping at the old Toy's museum in Tartu,Estonia in the middle of the Central park of the town.

and many other things... I think each country has given me their own amazing experience...

Teach, Learn, Share

must think about it....
I learn about your views and i will teach about mines, at the end we will learn from each other.
