Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Gaurav — currently pursuing my Master's in Engineering Management at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey. Originally from India, I’m a curious traveler who loves meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, and sharing stories over chai or coffee.
I believe travel isn’t just about places, but about the people you meet along the way. I'm respectful, easygoing, and always happy to help around the house or cook a simple Indian meal (Vegetarian) if you'd like to try something new!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m traveling on a student budget and see Couchsurfing as more than just a place to sleep — it's a chance to exchange ideas, cultures, and laughter. I'm also excited to host in the future once I have a more stable living situation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Some are:- ATB, LANY, Coldplay, Nightly, Prateek Kuhad, The Local Train, Anuv Jain, Dayglow, AP Dhillon and the list goes on. In fact, I have a playlist for almost every mood.
Movie: I'm really a big fan of movies and some of my favorites are La La Land, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Point Break, Into the Wild, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (Bollywood)
Not really a reader... yet! I'm trying to build the habit slowly — it’s still a work in progress. I’ve picked up a few popular ones like Atomic Habits and The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*** and I’m hoping to dive into more travel stories and books that change how you see the world.
Open to any recommendations - especially if it’s short, gripping, or something that’s changed your life!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Started my own online sticker store (glic.in) from scratch, designing and shipping to music lovers worldwide — while still in college!
