Overview
About Me
I’d recently come across new friends who are active on Couch Surfing as both guests and hosts, and I suppose I felt compelled to join! Speaking with them reminded me of my own travels, and how meeting people was at least half, if not more, the best part about traveling. Traveling is about exchanging ideas and culture, not just seeing sites and sampling food (although that is also a big reason for me!) And as I have become more
constrained as my career demands more and more from me, I feel that connecting with people in my own country can be just as rewarding as being the traveler. I wish to continue that personal journey, whether I am a guest or a host!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
See above! It’s the sharing of ideas and culture that is great about traveling! I can even do this without traveling! (Or with).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once appeared in an article of a national magazine that explored the ideas of young people in my country, Canadian Living Magazine. This part was fun to participate in and to contribute my bit, but more wild was that in a very far away country while traveling, I can across another traveler who was familiar with that article!
Teach, Learn, Share
I could probably teach you to ice skate, rollerblade, shoot a puck or how to drive a manual transmission. I know my way around a camera, too.
Would live to learn a bit of your home country’s cuisine, or your style of photography!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be happy to share conversation and stories! Or maybe just an ear.
