About Me

I'm an ignorant young fool. I do take credit for my self-awareness though.
Any point of saying anything beyond that? Ufff..let's see...
I grew up in a small village and I kept my love for nature and animals and animosity of most of the big cities and crowds. I read and write quite a bit and generally spend a lot of time lost in my thoughts. As a counter-weight to that, I suppose, I like simple manual work, especially in the garden or involving animals. My dream is to have a small farm of my own one day.
I like meeting new people, especially those of different background/culture/religion and discussing anything and everything with them. I feed and grow through such experiences. Not that I am too serious of a person. I can relax and enjoy a casual chat and any kind of humor one may like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard about interesting experiences some of my friends have had couch surfing and since I've never done it before...ta-dah. I'm already very used to traveling and making new friendships and I see couch surfing as an opportunity for just that. Looking forward to meeting my first host.

Interests

Lots of stuff I suppose so I will keep it short.
Music, reading, writing, especially philisophy and psychology, sports, I enjoy meditating and I am a bit into shamanism. I like history very much as well as religion, not meaning I am very religious myself, just curious and eager to learn.
Every now and then I like to forget the outside world and enjoy a good RPG game.
So yeah, I'm all over the place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Good music is good music. I don't limit myself to one band or genre. From classic music and oldies from 60s and onwards to all kinds of metal, which is what I listen to most often but not my favorite. Favorite would have to be Bach and Chopin. Music for the soul.

Sweeney Todd. I know. I am a poor emotional soul. And I like cheeze. Shoot me.
Other than that I barely watch movies to be honest. Not exactly my thing.

Hard to name even top 20 when it comes to books. I always was a bookworm.
I mostly read philosophy and psychology, but not only. I can mention Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Bukowski and Wilde, each of them dear to me in his own way. But there are so many others too and without their work my life would not be half as rich.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a guy's life once. Also, one morning my girlfriend told me the eggs I made were the best she ever had. Most rewarding thing I've ever done. The latter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a bit of a jack of all trades, having grown up in a village and later traveled around doing this and that for living and fun. I have certain skills ranging from farming and construction work to IT and psychology. I am quite spiritual and I love philosophy so my strongest side is actually holding a conversation with various characters on various topics, offering guidance and advice. Surprise surprise. Everyone's a spiritual guru nowadays, eh?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories. I lived many, I heard many more, and I know how to tell them. Also bubblegum and candy if I have any. And tobacco. Not bad huh?
