I love nature travel and meeting new people. I'm most at home trekking in the Scandanavian Forests and have a special interest in edible wild plants and medicinal herbs.

While I've been registered on the Couchsurfing website for a few years I haven't actively engaged with the site, however I have hosted a lot of travellers and backpackers at my place in Helsinki. I'm not new to backpacking and love to travel.

There is so much to learn, see and do in the world.

One of the things I'm particularly interested in is being able to survive in the Scandanavian Wilderness for a couple of months just living off the land, and what nature provides.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not your standard run-of-the-mill backpacker. I love to experiment in the kitchen, people tell me I'm a good cook, so I'd be happy to prepare you a meal or three (and I'll even clean up the kitchen once I'm done!)

I am also energetic and fun, and like to engage in interesting conversation and I'd love to hear your stories. Let's challenge each others' ways of thinking with new ideas and experiences.
