ABOUT ME

Geraldo: during many years I worked with artificial intelligence in an institute of technology. Now I work with educational projects and teach at university. I love to ride my motorbike through bumpy backroads. I love artificial languages and science fiction.

Simone: I worked in a bank for many years. Now my job is at the state government. I love books and cooking, traveling and walking, especially when these things happen together.

We both love to talk and we would like to hear about your trips, your city, your culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Geraldo: I am an atheist and a libertarian. I believe in live and let live, in laissez faire capitalist economy. I love to talk about these issues.

Simone: being happy, living the present moment.

Hosting, traveling and eventually going to meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Simone: I am a newcomer to couchsurfing.

Geraldo: I have already hosted people from Brazil, South Korea, Netherlands, Greece, Slovakia, Germany, Spain, Austria, Mexico, Israel and Italy. On the other hand, I had also traveled as a coucher to Portugal, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy and Argentina.

Intereses

Geraldo: computer science, artificial intelligence, education, artificial languages, science fiction, motorcycle tours, libertarianism, Ayn Rand philosophy, traveling.

Simone: movies, tv series, music, stories, traveling and knowing people from other cultures (and from our own too)

Geraldo: climbing (by cablecar) the Schilthorn peak in Switzerland. The Tenochtitlan pyramids in Mexico.

Simone: walking the fjords in Norway. Touring by bike with Geraldo. The Rio-Santos road was a very remarkable place.

Simone: I'd love to practice other languages and learn about how is the life in other countries.

Geraldo: I love to learn about other languages and to compare their idiomatic expressions with the ones we use in Brazil. I know some about PHP, MySQL and Regular Expressions.
