ABOUT ME

I'm a matured woman, but I appear and act younger. I'm also often told by other people that I appear younger. I enjoy great company.

I like to keep myself grounded, but I don't let that stop me from a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

Invest in yourself. And always look out for No. 1 because nobody else will but temper it with an understanding of others that what appears on the surface is not always so. Don't judge. And try to stay off the soapbox.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

Running - I am currently rebuilding my stamina and hoping to pick up speed soon.

Hiking - I've hiked up and down Mt. Whitney in a day on my first attempt.

Motorcycling - just picked this up. Having all kinds of adventures.

Good wine - or cHeAp wine is good too if I just want a buzz.

Camping - I love the outdoors. I love camping in Mammoth and up along the coast.

Sailing - I've done some sailing, but am not practiced enough to go past the bay.

Flying - I have my ground schooling done, and have not been successful finding a good instructor so that plan is on hold.

Movies - Flashdance, The Notebook, Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken, Toy Story 3. . .just to name a few.

Music - Black Eyed Peas, POD, Nirvana, Van Halen, Counting Crows, The Beatles, Diana Krall, Mozart.

Books - Jane Eyre, East of Eden, Dove, Maiden Voyage.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Up and down Mt. Whitney in a day on a first attempt.

Quite honestly, I've proven everything I had to prove to myself so I have no need to get anyone's approval or get first place in anything. This self-assurance is my biggest, most amazing accomplishment.
