ABOUT ME

Just finished school!! Now I'm riding my bike around indefinitely, searching for great scenery and people. I'm very interested in sport and activity of all type; cycling in particular, though I'd like to venture into sailing as well

I'm pretty easy going - not picky when it comes to food, lodging, smokers (non-smoker myself), pets, etc. My only strong preference is the ability to hold good conversation, as that is nice after extended periods of solo riding.

My route is pretty flexible, but the general idea can be found at a journal I will try to maintain at my linked web page.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a guest, I try to leave things cleaner than when I arrived, share my experiences openly and try to benefit the atmosphere however I can.

As I'm pedaling with no permanent address, I'm not hosting at this time.

New to this game, just vicariously through a few friends who have both hosted and surfed over the years.

Interessi

Cooking! When I have the time I can easily spend a couple days trying out new recipes...I'm pretty adventurous when it comes to food and like to try my hand at pretty well anything I can find ingredients for. Of course, 1/2 the fun with cooking is the wine that goes with it ;)

Photography! When traveling by bike, I find you see things you may miss in a car, and you see it in a different light...when you do this through beautiful countryside, it's hard not to try and capture and share that. I'm a complete newcomer to photography, but I get lots of practice on the road and hopefully come away with some great photos.

When the weather is good, any excuse to be out in it - hiking, cycling, camping, sitting on the dock at the cabin, barbecues with friends...when the weather is not good, cooking, reading, movies, dreaming up the next trip...

Musica, film e libri

The latest music binge includes RJD2, Manu Chao, Hilltop Hoods, Tiesto, Harry Manx, and Franti... it's rare I find something I can't appreciate.
