ABOUT ME My husband (Dave) and I are very social and love meeting new people. We are proud of our little piece of paradise and want to share it.

I believe that happiness doesn't depend on what you have or what you are. It depends solely on what you think. I love experiencing life and all it's richness-connecting with people, giving, learning, loving and growing. I'm happy, laid-back, intuitive, openminded and openhearted. I love to laugh and enjoy finding the humor in everything. I believe that what you create within yourself will manifest itself within your world. If you fill yourself with positivity, love and enthusiasm for life and project that outward, that energy will permeate your life. I think the most helpful personality trait is openness. Everyone has their own philosophy, opinions and interests and everyone has something valuable to offer. Travel is fatal to prejudice and narrowmindedness.

PHILOSOPHY

Suffering results from a resistance to life-an unwillingness to let go of our desire to control and our expectations. When we let all of that go and open ourselves up to whatever the universe has to give in any given moment, life is way more enjoyable. Don't judge, don't resist, don't demand. Observe and be amazed!

I accompanied my brother on a trip to China to bring home the little girl that he and his wife adopted.  I hadn't spent that much time with him since we were kids and sharing that experience with him was awesome!
