ABOUT ME

I am a very spontaneous person and love trying new things. New situations and adventures insipre me and I find them challenging and exciting. I consider myself resourceful and enjoy juggling a lot of projects at the same time and at times I may seem a whirlwind of activity. I have a keen imagination often existing on my own planet and am creative and humorous, making for a rich and interesting friend. I laugh at myself often and like entertaining others. I am generous with my time, tolerant with others and comfortable with compromise. I love whitewater rafting, canoeing, hiking in high mountains and being outdoors in remote places. I consider myself dynamic and unusual.
I need space to grow, I don't cope pinned to the inside of a house , I love blowing bubbles into the night sky and find beautiful hands sexy. People's shoes tell you a lot about them! I like to help people move out of their comfort zone and discover the thrill of finding out their potential and inner strength.

PHILOSOPHY

Get out of your comfort zone! Look for adventure and the extraordinary........ dream a lot, plan a lot, try new things as often as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a couchsurfer for about two and a half years and have loved being somewhere that I can share with people who like me don't want to feel you have to spend a lot of money to enjoy a place. It's really good to share my home with like minded people :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted around 30 people, (two of whom stayed longer than requested, much to my delight, we have dined and chatted and remain close friends. )and surfed on three peoples couches.... all of whom have been completely wonderful. In Turkey both hosts were exceptionially good at hospitality and could not do enough for me - it was very humbling. I met other surfers at one place and it's like meeting up with family - so so good! Can't wait for my next visitors.

兴趣

Stained glass making, making clothes, MOUNTAINS, hiking, cycling, seeing the world in all its shades, reading, golf, squash, tennis, painting, making jewellery, helping people improve their life skills and their ability to say yes when they mean yes and no when they mean no. I really like to challenge people to get out of their own comfort zone.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Walked 1000km across the pyrenees, The unbelievably high Himalayas, Mud houses in morocco mountains, Orchids in the cloudforest in Ecuador, CHildren with nothing, offering so much to others in Nepal, ran the London marathon in a wall to wall sea of people, had four children , spectacular sights in the Picos de Europa, fields of lupins alongside the turquoise water near Mount Cook, Big spiders, communities sharing and living off the land...really poor but happy and uncomplaining. Enjoyed moroccan tea with people I don't know who invited me off the street. Taught children to succeed in things they never knew (or believed) they could do
