About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live, to love, to experience

ABOUT ME

I love life and the way it just goes on whether you're there or not; I love observing things, meeting people, and just something different; I love being on the outskirts, and staring at things from a 3rd perspective.

PHILOSOPHY

"For to love, ardent love, it is attributed."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently just a couchsurfer, but I'd love to be a host after I graduate from my studies and have a place to offer. Meanwhile, I'm more than happy to meet fellow travellers, and be a tour-guide or a companion on others' trips.

Interests

I am studying engineering, so naturally, physics is supposed to interest me a great deal. I'm quite a jack of all trades, dabbling in a little of everything really, like playing the guitar, reading and writing stories, and building random gizmos in the workshop.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pride and Prejudice, a few of Shakespeare's works, History Boys, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Amelie, Jason Mraz, Five for fighting, and the list rolls on

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've seen is right here in Cambridge, looking across the room in a small corridor party and seeing about 10 different nationalities, 20-odd people, just mixing around and having fun together. After so many years of being around people of my hometown and witnessing much discrimination by locals whether at home or in other countries, it is still amazing to see the people of my generation learning to live with people different from them, and everyone evolving into a 'global citizen'!

Teach, Learn, Share

I spend too many of my days in the kitchen rather than at lectures, or playing games. Or planning travel trips. Would love to learn just about anything I don't know actually, although that's getting increasingly harder by the day.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, China, France, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Singapore, United Kingdom
