My mission objective is simple, to follow my favorite phrase ''profiter de la vie (francaise) (italienne), etc." But that is exactly what I am here to do! I am here to eat, explore, converse, and most of all, indulge!

Unbiddable, ungovernable - like a riot in the heart, and nothing to be done, come ruin or rapture. Love - like there has never been in a play."

Lately, my life seems to be an indulgence of excellent food, beautiful poetry amongst, a romantic language, and of course great adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

What a broad question...

My personal philosophy seems to be something in the realm of avoiding ignorance at all costs, constantly being well informed and active in a community yet never feeling discouraged. I find it very important to remain informed yet positive. While there is ugly in the world there is also great beauty, you just have to have eyes for both.

Another philosophy I try to follow is to view every man or woman as your brother or sister. Because effectively, we are related. We are all here doing the same thing, living, searching for happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time in Europe and actually my first time in the Couch surfing community. I have heard excellent things from many surfers about hosts so I am eager to begin!

Music, Movies, and Books

In terms of music I am a huge fan of the funk and soul music. A little bluegrass, a little folk. And definitely a whole lot of 70's rock and roll.

In terms of books, oh dear. Anything ernest hemingway, The Sun Also Rises is great. I am currently reading a WW2 novel, Band of Brothers. I really enjoyed The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. I am also a fan of Nicolas Sparks, I do love romantic novels. Any kind of comedy books, from George Carlin to Sarah Silverman.
