ABOUT ME

My friend would probably say that I'm a mix of peripatetic and pretentious. I enjoy swapping stories about travels over a beer or six, checking out local museums, restaurants, and points of interest, having long conversations about politics and philosophy, and occasionally just looking at pictures of lolcats.

PHILOSOPHY

A lot of humility, and the ability to write off frustrating people or situations as "silly" goes a long way to making your life much more fulfilling and enjoyable.

I've sold out and gotten a real job, but that's given me a chance to make some deposits in my karma account by being able to host. If I crash with you, I'll be more than happy to cook a meal, fix your toilet, dance a jig, mow your lawn, help defend your sister's honor, or teach you the finer points of thumb wrestling

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it's been nothing but positive. I've met some fascinating and hospitable people who have shown tremendous generosity without a second thought, and I've had the opportunity to pay back at least a portion of that.
