Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

haven't actually couch surfed yet.. but did host a surfer from australia.. would really like to try next time when out traveling..

Interests

traveling,, the only interest i have held onto over the past decade.. nevertheless, the fun of traveling is more about meeting different people,, interesting ones and sharing stories ect.. and right,, it keeps you stay open-minded and feel connected..

Music, Movies, and Books

"the last lecture" by professor randy pausch,, really touching and inspirational..
"about a boy".. it is a good book in the sense that it gives you a good laugh and some insights into all relationships a person will be involved in during his/her whole life.. and "the alchemist" and "eleven minutes" by paulo coelho.. Great books,, inspirational and encouraging especially when you are undergoing low periods of life..

i love movies,, all kinds..one single movie in particular,, "amelie," she is so lovable,, and really like her appreciation for bits in life.. it makes me feel good whenever watching it..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the experience was more "crazy" than "amazing".. i went to a restaurant to sample good food when a typhoon was sweeping over town.. i,, in heels that day,, was almost blown away by the extremely strong wind when walking in the street with a friend.. but i survived,, and had much fun battling the wind..

languages -- both to learn and to teach;
i enjoy meeting and sharing travel stories and encounters with people who are well-traveled.. i always believe that there is a difference between a traveler and a tourist..
