About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am a student of the world. Learning things everyday.
ABOUT ME
Hello. My name is Gema. I am from Gran Canaria, the Canary Islands, Spain. I study a degree in Modern Languages, English French and Arabic at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
I am 25 years old. I am a very extrovert and easy going person who loves cultures and exploring the world. I also love languages and knowing new ideas, so I always find a place and a moment to have a drink and to talk about life in general.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live.
Being possitive.
Life is precious, so respect life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, at the moment I can't offer a bed, but I would like to offer one as soon as possible. I would like to meet new people and to know new cultures as well.
I could encourage them to feel free.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with a woman in Manchester, but I lost my old account and I do not why I cannot access.
It was a great experience, she supported me for a week and she introduced me to her friends.
I could appreciate the importance of a project like this. It is one of the biggest experiences ever.
Interests
I like music, History, History of Art, Cinema, Literature of the world, languages, Human Rights and I do consider myself very openminded.
My favourite actress in Meryl Streep, and she is to me the top one and a great example of the well done preformance.
I also love theatre, which I have tried before but I have forgotten for a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hospitality and I would say the people who are very possitive, they really impress me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to share with people my experience with languages. I have learnt Arabic, French and English which are three different languages, but they all have something in common. Want to discover it?
It is easy, read a book in two languages, then you will see.
