My name is Gem,
New to couchsurfing & travelling! I am 22 studying Arts & Entertainment management in Sydney at the Australian Institute of Music. I'm about to set off on my first Solo trip based in Barcelona for 2 months from August! I Am super excited ....and anticipating who I'll meet & where I will end up on this journey, I am hoping to find fellow artist, musicians and beautiful souls who can help make my trip a very special & memorable one, I would love to find people in Spain who can teach me about your culture, the language, show me your art & music from where you are from and , possibly guide me to off the grid places of your beautiful country 7 hopefully return the hospitality one day if you come to Aus!. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ibelieve the people you meet whilst you travel are the ones that make your experience...I booked this spontaneous trip with no real plans, not much money to go with and no clue where I want to go or where to start... I was told by a friend about how she used Couchsurfing when she travelled and she found it a great and obviously inexpensive way to travel around and meet like minded people. I get bored very easily and constantly like to be doing new things, meeting new people and going on new adventures, as this is my first time travelling I thought what better way to do so then starting here and seeing what comes up & the possibility of new friendships around the world sounds amazing!!!I am hoping I can meet some beautiful people through here along the way who I can connect with and hopefully return the favour to some day, who can show me your culture, your country, and help me discover it's hidden treasures...

Interests

I have grown up around music & it is still apart of my day to day life, and one of my biggest passion, I love to Jam, listen and enjoy live music with friends and of course I love to dance...sometimes it's hard to get me to stop!
I also am an artist and have recently started to try street art with spray paint, ect so I am always trying to keep busy being creative with my day to day life!
I am always keen for a road trip and new adventures especially involving camping and nature.
The ocean is my safe place, chilling by the beach, swimming and enjoying the sunshine, being outdoors and adventuring through nature!
