ABOUT ME

I moved to Amman in 2014 for the next adventure of my life. I spent time with two culture exchange initiatives (Bridges for Communities and East West Initiatives), which gave me access to Jordan through a few local eyes. I lived there for two years exploring new groups and absorbing a truly diverse landscape of stories' ranging from refugees, expats and even an underground hip hop scene. I am a trained yoga teacher, but currently working at managerial level in a technology company in London, and before that I was managing an international startup/entrepreneurship mentoring programme in Jordan.

I used to do AirBnb but have been introduced to CouchSurfing via a friend and am happy to be part of this community!

Interests

I love to write - spoken word poetry, short stories (once upon a time!), journals, creative / journalistic pieces. I love to sing and enjoy music (jazz, swing, blues, r&b, classical, acoustic, world musi...). I like to host or attend dinner parties (who doesn't?) and mainly just try new cuisines. I like to explore areas (museums, galleries, open mic nights, local attractions, bars/restaurants, clubs, less central 'residential'/arty areas). I enjoy exercise (YES! I do, genuinely).
