About Me

I'm a bubbly and friendly professional taking a career break to have some much needed 'me' time and to explore our beautiful world.

Whilst I'm doing the whole backpacking on my own I love to meet people. I'm easy going and considerate. I'm very much looking forward to meeting new people and learning different cultures.

I'm not scared of many things (spiders mostly haha) but even if I am a little apprehensive I still throw myself in feet first. You don't get anywhere in life sitting back and watching from the sidelines, right?!

Life is for living- as its way too short. I'm definitely ready to live mine :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I thought it would be a cool way to meet locals, get fully involved with the local culture and socialise with non-backpackers!

Interests

I love meeting new people and learning. New to travelling but know it will be amazing! Love reading and listening to music, socialising, and anything to get the adrenaline pumping!

Music, Movies, and Books

My fave music is indie/rock and love going to live music gigs/festivals. I can't get enough or horror or comedy movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to spend a week in Rwanda in a small town called Muzanze. Part of some fund raising I was involved in helped build and maintain a school for deaf children. So I was able to see the development and spend time with the children as well as learn all about Rwanda's history. It truly was an amazing experience!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My smile! No?! Worth a try. I'm pretty good at cooking so will happily feed you, obviously accompanied by your fave wine/beer/spirit/cider!
