Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a nice apartment smack dab in the middle of Hollywood, which is the very last place I want to live. I figured I should take advantage of it by doing the occasional apartment-swap with others who will enjoy the novelty more than I do.

Interests

Video games, DIY, programming, computers, animals, nature, rock climbing, motorcycles, skydiving, crafting, gaming (tabletop etc), reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite artists coming to mind are Beck, Radiohead, Incubus, Fiona Apple, Minus the Bear, The Kills, The National, Glass Animals, TV On the Radio, St. Vincent, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

I don't watch movies, but I love cartoons.

Any books on cognitive science are immediately on my "To Read" list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been hit by a truck, on the highway, and then run over by the next one. True story! I still ride.

I've also jumped out of quite a few perfectly good airplanes for fun, but got bored of it. Too many bruises, not enough adrenaline.
