ABOUT ME
I'm not entirely dutch, half of me is Polish. So yes, always cold wodka in my freezer. Studying Industrial Design in Zwolle and currently living + internship in Utrecht.
PHILOSOPHY
Better to regret the things you háve done, than to regret what you haven't done.
Do you need a backpack when your whole world can fit in your head?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Feel welcome to contact me for a drink and a tour through the city, however living with my parents means i don't have a spare couch.
I think surfing is an awesome way to meet new people and see new places, and a great philisophy bringing people together
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A young couple in Arnhem, Holland was so gracious to let me use their guestroom for the night so I could catch an early international train to Poland the next morning. We spent hours exchanging stories about our lives, travels and their experience with couchsurfing. They made me feel really welcome and at home. This first experience inspires me to surf many more couches in this world.
I had a great night at a local family in northen Queensland, where after a good night drinking and jamming they offered me their couch. When everybody went to bed and i wanted to switch off the light, i could see this Huge!! huntersman spider sitting on the wall accross the room! To my own surprise I woke up next morning and continued to have a great day :)
Interests
I'm a creative person and love to work with my hands. I've been a certified restoration and decoration painter, and a not so certified blacksmith. Apart from that I'm interested in politics, philosophy, design, architecture.
I really love hiking, preferably mountains. Excercising like running and biking are my kind of thing.

I can offer you a place in my room in Utrecht and all the kitchen and bathroom facilities of our house (7 other students living there as well). My room is quite large, surely it fits two people on the floor. If you come in the weekends I can even give you a tour through the city, during the week I'm at work.
