My wife and I have been married since 2000. We are also now empty nesters and enjoy people. We've lived in Indianapolis for many years and also love sitting around the table and discussing a wide array of topics or sharing our city.

I enjoy a good beer and happy to share many of the breweries I enjoy.

I graduated from West Point and spent time in the Army. I have lived in N. Merrick, NY, South Florida (Sunrise), West Point, NY, Augusta, GA, Central TX, Louisville, KY, and Indianapolis, IN.

I enjoy collecting things, yard sales, breweries, travelling (my wife and I are working to visit all 92 counties of Indiana), watching TV, and just enjoying life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We enjoy meeting new people and hosting. Now that we are empty nesters, would love to host more..and hopefully visit and stay with other people down the road when we have the chance to travel.

Interests

Basically, we enjoy watching TV, hanging out, going out to dinner, shows on occasions, being with friends, and just taking it easy. We've been in our house for 25+ years. We enjoy taking drives thru the state and taking the road less traveled.
Personally, I enjoy going to the breweries, going to toy/comic shows, collecting toys/star wars/gi-joe/comics/vinyl/cards/etc. Basically, since I love yard sales, anything I can find that is unique and interesting.

I have my office, but doubles as storage for my collections.

Old Crow Medicine Show, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Smiths, Morrissey, 70's Punk, 80's New Wave. My wife enjoys Taylor Swift and Hamilton and Wicked soundtracks.

For TV Shows, The Traitors, Hoarders, and a few other reality shows. Also enjoy police dramas. I work from home, so it's basically those shows I can "listen to" while working and don't have to really invest "watching"

Books- I have a stack of them to read, I just mostly read Reddit instead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If my wife is reading this, then it's our wedding day. Otherwise, it's graduating from West Point. I'd say my two kids, but I didn't really do much there... just at the beginning.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share stories, share our friends, and share the town. We can also share the good eats and good beer from around town. We have lived here for 25 years now and know a large amount about the city.

We're happy to host young and old, male or female.

We have a Queen bed downstairs with it's own bathroom (and walk in shower). We also have another Queen bed upstairs. Finally, we have a couch downstairs for any additional person.

We have a cat, so please, no pets. She's 15 years old and told us she does not want another animal here at this time.
