About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet one person from each and every country

ABOUT ME

I am cheerful, witty, talkative, intuitive, good at finding interesting places in new cities, good with computers. And a good host. Also, that I spell horribly.

PHILOSOPHY

Staying positive while being realistic. I'm told I'm very good at it. Very few things beat hearing a good joke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host for the most part. I work from home, but as long as I know a few days head of time, I can escape and show people around. If I can't I will certainly guide them to the more interesting places in LA and make your stay memorable in a short time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I found Couchsurfing, I had a string of bloggers and video bloggers stay at my house as they passed through Chicago. I didn't know about this site or I would have signed up much earlier. I still talk with some of them today. It's been a great experience so far and I'm trying to keep it that way.

Interests

I just moved from Chicago to LA driving through the worse snow storm in 30 years to get here. I perform comedy and work on several companies right now. I tend to gravitate to the more interesting books and media out there. I currently try to spend as much time at the beach as I can, and SLOWLY learning to cook more then 3 meals. I love to engage in conversation with everyone.

I'm suppose to mention that I also had a friend live in my walk in closet for a year and a half while going to Harvard. We never lived in Boston.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch a bunch of Horror and Sci-fi. I also try to keep up with international Horror and Sci-fi. I'm always open to suggestions.

Music tastes are mood based for me. I go in phases.

I tend to go for the really weird books to learn from. I'm currently reading a book on what it would be like for a robot to date a human.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) I've lived in Chicago all of my life. Finally visiting Los Vegas was eye opening as to see just how huge a building can really be.
2) Going to Mount Rushmore during a snow storm and we were the only ones there. It was like a horror movie.
3) Driving on my first road trip. Better then flying anyday.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you some really unique traveling tips, how to start conversations with anybody, and probably fix your computer or other gadgets. I can also teach you how to tell a joke.
Learn: I would like to learn some dance moves, What people from other countries think about America, some new words or phrases.

Share: I can share my home, knowledge of the area and experience that will create some fond memories for the future. You can also use the bathroom.
