ABOUT ME

I am a Grad student in International Affairs in Conflict and Security at The New School University in NYC. I am also a slight adrenaline junkie. I tend to feed this addiction with rock climbing, trapeze, the occasional skydive, tumbling (former gymnast) and dancing of all kinds. If you are in town and need some recommendations and possibly a partner in crime to do any of these activities gimmie a shout. Oh! I forgot stilt walking! love stilts! (also slight Napoleon complex) I love traveling and connecting with new and old souls from anywhere, especially in the middle east where most of my activism and academic focus is. I have been all over the beautiful country of Jordan doing research and in Egypt oooh I also heart camping soooo much the happiest I have ever been is at a fire side not showered for days. I am a total Girl Scout legit yo, been up through the ranks, then became a leader in East Harlem and sometimes assistant camp director upstate New York. I love working with kids most of my focus has been with girls from the inner city with the mission of cultivating imagination and inner silliness. I believe in the fundamental right for children to feel safe enough to be children. Creating space for that in adverse environments has been one of my passions.- It is in truth, ultimately a selfish act in getting to connect with my own inner child.
