ABOUT ME

We are a family of 6, living in Quebec and loving to explore our world and its people.

In January 2016, we sold everything we owned and started a slow travel trip, not knowing exactly where we would go, and when, or if we would come back.

Now, things have changed since we decided to get back to Quebec. Children wanted more time with their local friends so we got settled again. We now only plan for short trips but still want to see the world!

I am a translator, Alex is a sales representative and our two younger children are being homeschooled while to two oldest attend highschool.

I am Canadian, Alex is Costaricain and the children, well, a mix of both ;-)

We live in an old house right besides a farm with a few Highland Cows, Birkshire pigs, lambs and hens. We have an extra room for guests and live 5 minutes from a ski station (or waterslides and mountain bike in Summer)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We joined on Couchsurfing thinking it would be a great way to get to know a city for a couple of days before to find a long term rental in the area.

We enjoy most when we meet like-minded people, or when we experience different cultures, with different habits and beliefs, but who basically have the same fundamentals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having the thrust in life to leave everything behind and explore the world with husband and 4 children (3-6-9-11), trying to contribute to make things better for all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach Spanish, French, English and I worldschool my children. We are always learning new things.
