ABOUT ME

I came to South America a couple of years ago and LOVED it, but spoke no Spanish. So I went home and started learning, and now I'm back to try and improve it further, and experience more of Latin America now I can actually speak to people! No more - or at least a bit less - smiling and nodding.

I love animals, the great outdoors, seeing new things and the chats you have with random strangers over a couple of drinks.

I'd like to spend a bit less time in hostels and a bit more time experiencing the local side of life. Hostel hopping can get exhausting (and isn't great for the budget) and I think I'll get to know places a bit better with the insight of my Couchsurfing host/s.
