I've traveled extensively across the USA in my younger days. Currently I am retired from working for the US government and work part time just to keep active. My husband is also retired.
I love traveling and discovering out of the way, hidden gems. Tours are not my cup of tea unless led by a local and not part of a tour group. I'm good at reading maps and finding my way around. Being lost means having an adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to host people who use American Sign Language, or any sign language around the world, whether deaf or not. I use a lot of body language so if your English is limited, or you know sign language, I'd love to host you (and vice versa).
