ABOUT ME

I am described as a mellow and spacey airy and warm. I have no fire in my sign, am independent and easygoing. I enjoy walking and exploring. Having lived with over 60 different housemates in the last decade, I am considerate and mindful of others space. I am more country than city. I am an asset to most living environments because I love to wash dishes and sweep.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in the midwest for a few days here and there and enjoyed making new friends and learning about their lives. I have had many couch surfers share my home over the last decade.

Interests

I love traveling and adventure but have spent most of the last few years working. I have decided to go on the road and explore some places that I have never ventured, namely, the southern states. I am passionate about hot springs, hiking, wandering, laughing, dogs, gardening, languages and learning from people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Gertrude Stein, Penelope Rosemont, Kobo Abe, Octavio Paz, Rebecca Solenit. All music is good music I have eclectic tastes with no rhyme or reason and can tolerate anything. I will imbibe in trash t.v. if someone else is already watching it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love beaches and the outdoors in general. The Mediterranean sea, the light in Arles, peoples smiles in Quito, the dunes and the Hobbit trails in Oregon, hot springs in the Olympic Peninsula, and the Badlands. I love being outdoors and time with friends.
