I'm an actor/host/scriptwriter/translator who often travels around the world for productions (film, docu, travelogue, tv programs,..) and maybe one day i'm in need for a place to crash. I live in Malaysia for the past 8 years. Originally i'm a Flemish Belgian but consider myself more as a world citizen. Since 2006 i made a big spiritual step by becoming a Muslim. I was, like any real Belgian, a heavy alcohol consumer.. and i stopped drinking ever since my conversion. I don't regret missing a pint, it has changed my life completely for the betterment. I do not mind being with people having drinks, but if they get too drunk (esp. many non-Europeans can't control themselves being drunk)... it's time for me to make a move. And yes, i do smoke...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

One, in case i'm out of my comfort zone (be it on a production or on travel) i hope to connect to nice local people; similarly, i'm willing to host once in a while... any of you wana play a role (background artist or supporting) in a malaysian movie production, you can roger me ;)
I am connected to a variety of resort operators who are continuously looking for volunteers (currently we have one resort in the jungle - just 20 min from KL City & one resort on Langkawi Island - at the beach; which need volunteers). These resorts will offer free accommodation (some even offer free meals) for just a few hours a day helping around the resort (gardening, painting, cleaning, landscaping, etc.)
