PHILOSOPHY

I believe we get from the world what we put into it. If we set out to serve and take care of the world, that is what we get back from it.
A friend of mine used to say "follow your interests and you will be supported in what you do". I have found this to be true.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been going to weekly Couchsurfer meetings here in Vancouver, and the occasional potluck.
I also take part in the weekly Spanish-English conversation group.
So far it's been great fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

...and did I mention that I stayed with a couchsurfer in Guatemala? If you want to do the same, and teach English to some Mayan students, ask me about it.

My trip to Central America was life changing. Seeing the extraordinary differences in ways of living. Meeting other travellers makes me feel optimistic about the world.
Have recently completed a naturalist training course by correspondence from the Wilderness Awareness School in Duvall, WA. (Kamana.org)
Am studying music therapy in Vancouver. Amazing learning experience.
