COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Travelling, I have on several occasions met locals which has led to informal couch surfing arrangements. My favorite was a stay in Bocas del Toro with some local sailors - we assisted in their toruism project and cooked meals of crab and lobster together!
These unexpected offerings of kindness are often the most special, but then I found a formal outlet to arrange such stays - Couchsurfing.org!
