Hi dear CouchSurfer!

I'm Geoffroy, 25. I'm currently living in Lyon, France, where I work as an sustainable building designer in an engineer cooperative SME.

Even if I do not have a lot of free time, I'm full of passions and interests. The things that I like the most doing are photography and mountaineering.
I really began taking pictures like 5 years ago and it has quickly become a true passion. That's simple: I'm allways carring a camera in my backpack, wherever I go. It the greatest way I've found to express myself while I'm on a trip for sure. I mostly take pictures of landscapes, nature and the people who are driven by wild places.
I'm also a big fan of mountaineering sports! Both in winter and summer, I really enjoy spending time skitouring, climbing, mountaineering, running or hiking throughout the Alps. I find it very ressourcing and the mountains help me grown my counsciousness regarding environmental issues and the need to pass on a better world and a preserved nature to the future generations.

As for me, Couchsurfing is a very good mean to meet other people worldwide, sharing our different opinions, and making travel abroad easier and more enriching.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

the only experience that I have using couchsurfing was back in 2010 in London. I spend a week with couchsurfers from UK and other countries! That was a really interesting first experience. I think I've learned a lot of things about the way a CS trip should be organized in order to make it work. The place I stayed was awesome and the people I met there were really kind!
