ABOUT ME

I really don't know much about myself but i am working on it. I have varied interest which keeps on changing in spatio-temporal domain. However my interest in Yoga, photography, teaching, hiking, nature & wildlife have been consistent for last 2 decades. During day I work as a scientist at an international organization. My research area is ecological applications of Remote sensing(satellite and airborne imageries) and GIS. I have a long-standing interest in converging trajectories of international development, conservation
and natural resource management in South-Asia and therefore find myself working with a number of environmental NGO's on issues of environmental vulnerability and conservation in high altitude regions of India, Nepal and Bhutan. I am a nomad by birth and have traveled around the world (northern hemisphere mainly. Having lived and worked in Himalayas for quite some time, I love mountains.

Currently i host couchsurfers and non-couchsurfers alike. As of now my work doesn't allow leisure travel except and the official trip do not provide much room to interact with couch surfers.
