My name is Geordie, I am 22 years old and I live in London. I have just finished working as a ski & snowboard instructor in Nozawa Onsen and now I’m exploring all that Japan has to offer. I love to meet new people and learn about their culture. I am always up to try new things and want to experience as much as I can on my travels. For me there is no better feeling than discovering a new location with the help of some local knowledge and my own curiosity. I'm on couchsurfing because I live in London, which is a great city, but I often feel the need to travel. I want to discover more and more places, landscapes, culture.
Also, even if I love travelling with my friends, I now feel like I want to go somewhere by myself and meet new people from different places. Couchsurfing is the perfect concept for what I want on the first hand because paying a hostel is not economic for my student wallet, and on the other hand it gives me the chance to meet the locals easily, allowing me to experience a whole new side of Japanese culture. Also, I think people who are on this website are very welcoming and easy-going.
