Hey!
I'm Billy. I was born in Peru but moved to northern Germany when I was six years old. Besides an Erasmus in France, I have been living and studying in Munich since 2015.

I'm very interested in culture. I love reading, going to the theatre or the opera, learning languages as well as learning about food and other cuisines.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is the unexpected which makes travelling so enriching, and that cannot be planned, cannot be booked. It's other people who make the experience. And there's no better way in getting to know people than staying at their places, sharing stories, experiences and certainly meals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For about 1½, I was the manager of a student-run bar in Munich. It was open every day and also served warm food. In total, there were about 50 other students working there. At times, it was super chaotic and exhausting but I am super grateful for the experience and the many learnings.
