Hey there!
I'm Georg, I am a cinematographer living near Frankfurt specializing in commercial and documentary work,
I have founded a social cycling club in Darmstadt called Ridestall and founded a startup called Heinrig specializing in making sustainable tools for filmmakers.
I love to play piano, listen to all kinds of music and dance. I also ride my road bike quite a lot, do yoga, and like to tinker in my free time on various projects.

Currently I'm in Sri Lanka (Jan/Feb 2026) and would love to meet various new people and just enjoy the time together. I would love to learn surfing :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I hate the classic tourist-y city exploring, because it's always crowded, expensive and most importantly you don't get to know the people/ city/country. That's why i want to help other people get connected with other nationalities, i will try to host people if possible, or i will show you the city.
I'm very grateful for people hosting me and showing me their lifestyle or city. I love to talk with people about cultural differences and political topics.

Música, películas y libros

I'm open to hear all kinds of music, but I mostly hear music based around Jazz, Hip Hop, House, and Indie.
I'm also playing piano and upright bass myself. (well i play terrible, but i gotta brag with something)

One of my favorite directors is Stanley Kubrick, "2001: A Space Odyssey" is not for everyone, but it's awesome!
