I am living in Mainz most of my life -since my study at Johannes Gutenberg Universtiy.
I like my city at the Rhine. Most people here are open-minded.
We are influenced by the ideas of the French revolution and culture -not only at carneval.
In Mainz the first democratic republic within Germany was founded in 1793.

We live on the banks of the river Rhine - rivers make a city beautiful - and they bring us the spirit of the world.
I love my neighors in the "Vilzbach".

What else can I say about me and my city:
Mainz made stay and became my home.
Grounded that way I am happy to meet the "world", either here or at any place on earth.

I have learned a new language (Braslilian Portuguese).
But without practice I will forget anything.
