I'm a 23 year old Englishman travelling the US and then travelling Australia afterwards. I graduated from Northumbria University in Newcastle (UK) with a degree in Investment Management. I'm new to Couchsurfing and haven't tried it before but looking forward to my first experience doing so. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to travel the US/Australia and want to meet some cool people doing so, I find that locals know the best places/things to do that are 'off the beaten track' so to speak, and so far the best experiences I've had travelling have been with locals who live in the area.

Interests

Socialising, Trying to see as much of the world as possible, I really want to learn to surf and enjoy most extreme sports. I also like learning, whether it's about someone, somewhere or something, I really enjoy expanding my mind.

Music, Movies, and Books

Deep House music mainly, I also like hip-hop such as A$AP Rocky, Jay-Z etc. and am a big fan of John Mayer.

Favourite movies include: The Departed, Goodfellas, Inception, Django, basically anything with De Caprio in it, and/or directed by Martin Scorsese/Quentin Tarantino.

Only just started reading for pleasure again, currently on the second Game of Thrones book and loving it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered for a month in Thailand in 2013 and taught a class of seven 15yr olds how to say directions in English, it was honestly the most rewarding experience of my life yet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I have a good sense of humour and am quite social. I can tell you all about myself and where I'm from (a small city called Hull in the North East of England). Although I have left University (so technically live at home) if we become friends and you're travelling the UK, I'm sure my mum won't mind giving you somewhere to stay for a night or two.
