My name is George Crane and I'm 19 years old. I come from a small rural town in Northumberland, England. I'm in the middle of 6 siblings and I will be attending York University to study Economics in October 2015.

I'm Couchsurfing in order to meet new people and experience different cultures. I want to enable people to see the city of York and experience a slice of university life. While traveling I also hope to make connections through other couchsufers which will enable me to be more involved more in the community that I'm staying in.

My main interest is by far sport, with football being my favourite. However I enjoy watching or being involved with many sports, apart from golf as I'm 50 years to young!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I don't mind all types of music and I believe that each is enjoyable with the right company and in the right setting, (saying that I do appreciate most a little bit of 70's and 80's rock. I never been a massive fan of reading books but it is something I'm definitely going to do more, and as far as movies go I like a wide variety.

One of the most worthwhile things I've done in my live was definitely spending 5 weeks as a volunteer teacher in Thailand and Cambodia.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I enjoy Maths tutoring and English teaching, both of which I'm really eager to increase my experience, I spent 2/3 of my time during my A levels studying Maths so I should be quite good at it, bit rusty at the moment though, and being a native English speaker I should be able to help you if needs be. Due to my love of sport, I also have experience coaching football, which I also one of my biggest passions. Having just spent 3 months travelling around Asia, I would love to share my advice with anyone going travelling or considering it!
