我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have only recently been told about couch surfing- I've obviously been living under a rock in London haha. I am about to embark on my biggest adventure yet and I would like to meet new people everywhere that I go and have rich human experiences! I am also excited about the prospect of hosting other travellers once I am settled in a place! I love sharing my local knowledge and looking after my friends with yummy food and good conversation.

I have a very wide variety of music that I enjoy, I love to discover new music and to check out what other people are in too! Whilst I write I am listening to Fat Freddy's Drop, I have lots of Spotify playlists and some records. Not a massive TV person but watched lots of stuff over COVID times like Marvel, GOT and more. I like to watch some David Attenborough or Brian Cox and read books that exercise the brain like 'A brief history of time' or 'Sapiens'.

I love going to gigs and other live music events and have good knowledge of places to go in London!

I taught English in Madagascar and during a jungle trek I heard the amazing song of the Indri Lemur! It was an amazing thing to experience 🙂

I am a very active person so would be happy to teach people how to play a variety of sports or discuss fitness and nutrition. I am training to be a mountain leader so would be keen to go on days walking, climbing, ice climbing, biking, camping- anything outdoors! I would like to learn how to surf, ski and snowboard.

I would like to learn Spanish/Portuguese currently I use Duelingo but I am only a beginner! I am also keen to learn to play an instrument. I am open to lots of learning opportunities some I have thought about other I a haven't discover yet- I just like learning a nickname of mine is Curious George.

I would be happy to share time, stories and my skills with any open mined human. I love to cook and eat so would always be happy to teach, learn, share knowledge in the kitchen! I am handy too so happy to have a look at the odd job.
