About Me

Hey! Привет! Hola! 你好! 👋

I’m Georhi (or Gosha), 24 y.o., from Belarus — heart of Europe
By day I’m a software automation engineer, by lifestyle — a traveler powered by curiosity.

I started traveling in 2022 and quickly realized I care more about experiences, people and stories than about staying in one place.

Since then I’ve visited 44 countries, lived 5 months in Bali and 2 months in Madeira, hitchhiked, cycled between cities, and said “yes” to many spontaneous plans.

Couchsurfing has been a big part of this journey — I’ve met wonderful people here, and some of them became close friends.

Things I enjoy:
- cultures, languages & psychology
- deep talks mixed with stupid jokes
- I’m huge fan of sport: air rifle shooting, swimming, cycling, rowing, boxing, jogging
- yoga & meditation (occasionally, no pressure)

I appreciate simple things:
shared food, long walks, good energy, curiosity about life and people.

If you’re open-minded and easygoing — we’ll probably get along

📍 Currently: on the move
🧳 Countries visited: 44

To be continued… 🏃

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I love meeting locals and real people, not just visiting places.

I’m genuinely curious about how people actually live — everyday routines, small traditions, local habits and stories you won’t find in guidebooks.

For me, traveling is about connection, sharing moments, conversations, food, laughs, and learning from each other. Couchsurfing is the best way to see a place through the eyes of the people who call it home.

I’m always happy to exchange stories, experiences, and create memories that feel real and spontaneous — the kind you remember long after the trip ends.

If you’re up for good vibes, easy talks and sharing a bit of everyday life — I’m in
