I'm George. I like the snow, I like the surf, I like the sun on my skin, I like dogs but I don't like poodles, I love my family and friends, I love meeting new and interesting people, I like to stay in shape, I like being a bit lazy, I love to cook, I don't like to clean but I like being clean, I like martial arts, I like to read, I like snowboarding, I like being an uncle, I like having indigenous heritage, I like hellos but I don't like goodbyes.

PHILOSOPHY

When we're old and decrepit and all we have is our stories, I want people to actually want to hear mine. Carpe Diem.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have crashed on many couches but never through this site. I'm hoping I get to stay with some good people and see some places from a locals perspective and hopefully return the favour one day when you visit my country!

Thrillers in both books and movies. I usually like non-fiction but I just finished The Hunger Games for something different and thought they were great.

I like all kinds of music - different tunes for different times but the soundtrack to my life tends to be from the heavier genre.

Recently, during a massage, I put a pregnant lady into labour (yes, she was ready :) and put her on her long awaited path to the birth of her first child.

It's a funny story that I'd love to tell you about properly sometime!
