Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of it in general; being accepted into a strangers home and experiencing the country through the point of view of somebody that lives there. I think it's a beautiful medium for generosity and hospitality that would otherwise be difficult to express in the modern world. i feel secure knowing that one day when i am travelling and in a sticky situation, there will be someone out there willing to take me in and show me kindness. it's the way the world should work.
